MOLOMER® Technology Explained

Throughout the years, there have been countless products that you could choose from to take care of your vehicles. Walk into any store and you’ll see shelf after shelf of these products. Ask your friends for a recommendation, and they’ll likely give you either a brand name or a particular product.

But one thing that rarely gets discussed is the technology that makes the products possible...

It’s the technology behind the product that ultimately provides the features and benefits that you see when you actually use these products on your car. These include things like waxes, polymers, acrylics, silicones, nanocoatings, ceramics, and now hybrid-ceramics. Technology is always changing and improving as manufacturers constantly push the boundaries of science. With each push comes innovation that advances the technology to a higher level.

The new push in coating technology is to develop coatings that are more resilient, durable, and harder, demonstrating longer wear and lasting capabilities. And now TopCoat® has pushed those boundaries to the absolute limit with our newest coating technology… MOLOMER® Technology

What is MOLOMER® Technology?

MOLOMER® Technology is a technological leap in how we develop, use, apply, and look at permanent coatings. MOLOMER® Technology combines cutting-edge chemicals and additives to formulate a unique Crystaleen® structure with Ultra-Microbond™ capabilities.

What this means to you is MOLOMER® Technology outperforms every other product on the market because of the unique way that itchemically and mechanically bonds to any surface, forming a Crystaleen® barrier for ultimate protection, durability, and wear.

On a chemical level, MOLOMER® Technology allows for a continuous Crystal-Coat™ to form as a single membrane bonded to applied materials, a membrane that actually is synthesized with the vehicle’s surface. MOLOMER®’s mechanical bond is equally impressive, using smaller molecules that micro-fill in the physical pores of the material, reaching deeper and more recessed areas. This leads to coating characteristics that significantly improve durability, wear, hardness, shine, hydrophobicity, UV stability, corrosion resistance, chemical staining resistance, and more.

Benefits of MOLOMER® Technology?

Unlike common ceramics, MOLOMER® Technology is flexible, and won’t crack, flake, or peel regardless of how many layers are applied. And yes, MOLOMER® layers, so each time you apply it, you increase the level of protection provided to your vehicle’s finish (unlike common ceramics that can only be applied once).

With proprietary and state-of-the-art Ionic-Bond™ and Ultra-Glide® characteristics, MOLOMER® Technology significantly reduces dust and dirt build-up by holding a positive charge on the surface, as well as a tight molecular structure that makes penetrating the coating extremely difficult once cured. This means that dirt, grime, and other contaminants are much easier to clean off, as they have no way of sticking to or bonding with the finish of your vehicle.

Another major advantage over ceramics is that MOLOMER® Technology can handle immediate weathering, yet a real ceramic coating needs 12-24 hours to cure in a clean room so contaminants like dirt, debris, and environmental fallout don’t land in the coating and become permanent.

MOLOMER® is truly the next generation of coating technology, surpassing even ceramics in every conceivable way. And like all TopCoat® products, MOLOMER® Technology is formulated, manufactured, warehoused, and shipped entirely from the USA.
