Since TopCoat® products are water-based (rather than chemical-based), it is safe to use on any surface, in your driveway or at the boat yard, and around your children and pets. Unlike other car soaps, there is no runoff that risks polluting the environment from detergents, surfactants, non-balanced PH levels, and harsh chemicals.
You can use as little as 1-2 ounces per a 5 gallon bucket of water for a regular wash, or 2-3 ounces if things are a little dirtier than usual. This means a lot of washes!
All TopCoat® products are specially formulated to be used together. PolyWash™ is the perfect surface preparation for a coat of F11®, HPS™ or Spritz™ for an even longer-lasting shine.
Our proprietary MycroBond™ technology means that PolyWash™ doesn’t just clean your car, but also gives it a sleek, water-repellent shine that also protects your finish. If caufght in the sun when washing, PolyWash prevents water spotting due to its coating technology. No other wash on the market can make this claim.
PolyWash™ makes quick work of dirt and debris that other washes and waxes have trouble with. Unlike traditional wash products, PolyWash™ won’t create spiderwebs in your finish, or damage your surfaces. PolyWash is designed to be safe under any condition, yet effective without concern of harsh detergents, surfactants, and cleaning agents that actually damage and dry out materials and surfaces. PolyWassh is PH balanced as well, unlike traditional car soaps and washes that use low PH levels to help clean and remove dirt. Non balanced PH soaps and washes can seriously damage your paint, metals, plastic and more, chemically etching them, especially if they are hot. PolyWash is safe on everything, epecially sensitive materials like Matte or denum paint, raw aluminum and decorative metals, powder coating, vinly, plastic, and leather. Trust PolyWash to get the job done, regardless of condition.
Use PolyWash™ in a bucket, sprayer, or foam cannon. However you decide to use it, it’s simple to apply, cleans fast and easily towels dry for a streak-free shine.

Q. How much surface area does one bottle cover?
A. 1oz of PolyWash™ should cover approximately 440sqft of surface area. That means that a bottle will cover 7040sqft. To make this a little more practical, we recommend using 1oz in a gallon of water for a regular washing of your car, or 2oz in a gallon if it is particularly dirty.
Q. Will this remove wax? Will this clean off water spots?
A. PolyWash™ will not remove wax, and because it helps prep the surface to bond with our other products, it is the perfect product to use before applying a coat of F11®. PolyWash™ will not remove water spots, but due to the nature of the coating it applies, will significantly reduce the amount of new water spots that are able to form on the surface.
It is a very good product but I wish it were more vconcentrated to use 2 oz. per 5 gallon bucket.
When I used it on my wife’s car for the first time I noticed a brilliant shine the next day after I looked at the car. I love it just wish it were a little bit more soapy
Thank you for your feedback Steven!
This is my second gallon I have purchased and NOTHING can beat it in getting your car clean. Used in conjunction with the F11 wax, my car shines and stands out on a parking lot.
Thank you for the amazing feedback Keith!
Washed my 21 year old Converted Ambulance with this product. Water started to bead up as I was washing. Once dried, my rig was really shining even before applying F11. Found a customer for life!
Thank you, Kevin! PolyWash is the perfect prep to F11. If you have any pictures, we would love to see.
Seen your products on a commercial and told my wife, it was Christmas time so she bought the group of the products together and liked the way it left my truck ran out and purchased again. Sure I will continue to buy.
I purchased Top Coat products back in 2018. I used it on my vehicles, motorcycle, and motorhome, and once and awhile on the stainless steel refrigerator doors, and stove front oven door. It makes it SHINE!!!!
There's nothing better than an amazing shine
Was disappointed when spotted up after washing still. Truthfully no better than my other car wash soap. Luckily, I had F-11 to make it look great again.
I am amazed at this product. I used it a more than month ago and my car still shines. Dust doesn’t seem to stick to the car. I haven’t even used any f-11 since washing my car with this. It’s worth the money.
Thank you, John!
I gave this an acid test, washed by black Hyundai Santa Fe in full sun, no spotting what so ever.
That is great to hear the Polywash worked as it should for you!! Water spots are going to be a thing of the past.
This Is A Great Product
Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear you are enjoying your TopCoat!
Shipping cost was more than the cost of the product. (shipping was from Florida to Hawaii) Would be nice to have a "measuring cap" that measures in one ounce portions - when pouring product into a bucket of water, no way to tell how many ounces of product ends up going into into the bucket Would be helpful to know how many gallons of water you need to wash a car - my first try ended up with a lot of excess water and wasted product.
Hello Brian! I do understand your frustration about the cost of shipping. While it is expensive, we are passing along our savings to you, and only charging what it costs us to ship out a product. As far as measuring out the Polywash, a 1/4 cup measuring cup can be used to get those 2 ounces needed. We recommend Mixing more as you need it, so that you do not waste too much water or product. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.
