How to Use Your Premium Wash Mitt

To get the absolute best, scratch-free results when washing with PolyWash®, you need to manage the dirt you pull off your car.

Step 1: Prep Your Buckets Fill one bucket with water and your TopCoat® PolyWash® soap. Fill a second bucket with clean, plain water.
Step 2: Wash Top to Bottom Submerge your Premium Wash Mitt into the soapy water. Put it on your hand and gently wash one panel of the vehicle at a time, starting from the roof and working your way down to the dirtier lower sections.
Step 3: Rinse and Repeat Before putting your mitt back into the soapy water, dunk it into the plain water bucket. Agitate it to release the trapped dirt and sand. Now, dip it back into your soap bucket and move to the next panel.

How to Care for Your Wash Mitt

Your Wash Mitt is made of the same premium MDHF™ microfiber as your detailing towels. Follow these rules to keep it soft, absorbent, and safe for your paint:

Wash Separately: Only wash with other premium microfiber products. Never wash with cotton towels, as the microfiber will trap the lint.
Use Liquid Detergent: Use a clear, unscented liquid laundry detergent. Never use powder detergent, as undissolved granules will get trapped in the long-pile fibers and scratch your paint during your next wash.
NO Fabric Softener: Never use fabric softener or dryer sheets. They coat the fibers in wax, ruining the mitt's ability to hold soapy suds.
Dry on Low/No Heat: Tumble dry on the absolute lowest heat setting possible, or air dry. High heat will melt the synthetic fibers.
