TopCoat was founded by Scott Smith, who worked as a professional in the automotive detailing market from an early age, owning many automotive shops that handled everything a car, boat, or motorcycle would need, including planes and helicopters, making him an expert in the detailing industry from decades of actual experience.
With Scott’s leadership and experience, TopCoat grew into a multi-million dollar business, pioneering an entirely new direction apart from the traditional detailing methods established within the car care industry. Decades of professional experience and innovative thinking enabled Scott to formulate a new coating solution which completely changed the way we cleaned and detailed our vehicles, a product that replaced several detailing products with just one. A product that once applied significantly reduced or eliminated the need to wash with harsh soaps and chemicals, making cleaning easy with just water or a simple reapplication of the coating. It was a real game changer. This product was so effective and easy to use that someone with zero knowledge on detailing could get pro results in seconds, renewing and restoring every surface and material like new, from the entire inside to the entire outside, protecting everything against the harshest conditions mother nature or man could create, all by incorporating the most up to date and advanced surface modifying technologies money could buy.
Unfortunately, this is a truth that makes it very difficult for anyone to know what product to buy, what product is actually good or bad, or will actually do the job you need, especially when all the products say the same thing!” TopCoat solved this problem by focusing on unparalleled surface-enhancing technologies that could be formulated into one product so the consumer would get exactly what they wanted, clean and shiny, while their vehicles would get exactly what they needed, real protection, thus avoiding all the excessive products and the confusion associated with them. Unsurpassed shine and depth of image, check. Renew every surface like new again, check. Easy cleaning and maintenance, check. Ultimate protection against mother nature, check. All with 1 product saving time, effort, and money over the old traditional detailing method, check! Imagine having a detailing coating that could do all of this and more that actually does what it said it would do? No fancy marketing, no gimmicks, no buzz words, just a better product and a better way of detailing.
Today, TopCoat Products has become the trusted brand from over 2 decades of business, over 1 million customers, more 5 star reviews than any other product online, and used worldwide from celebrities to the president’s motorcade, manufacturers to large scale resellers, museums to dealerships, body shops to detail shops, pros to novices, and used in every industry from boats, planes, RVs, motorcycles, cars, trucks, ATVs, and more. We also take pride in the fact we are one of the few companies that formulates, manufactures, and ships our own products from our own facilities right here in the USA, taking every opportunity to constantly improve our products with every comment we receive.
