How F11® Classic Is Applied

Step 1: The Initial Bond

Apply to a freshly washed, dry surface to establish your foundational layer of hydrophobic protection and high-gloss shine.

Step 2: Spray and Spread

Lightly mist F11® Classic onto a cool surface or directly onto a 16" Microfiber detailing towel. Spread the formula evenly across one section at a time and let sit 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Instant Buff

Using a dry microfiber towel, gently buff the surface to a high-gloss, streak-free finish. No long cure times or white wax residue.

Step 4: Waterless Maintenance

Once your base layer is set, use F11® Classic to safely lift light dust and road grime between washes. Just spray and wipe to restore the shine without a hose or bucket.

How much F11® Classic do I need per vehicle?

It typically takes 1 to 2 ounces to treat both the interior and exterior of an average-sized vehicle. Expect to use slightly more during your initial application to establish the base layer; subsequent maintenance coats will require less product.

How often should I reapply F11 Classic?

Most users reapply every few weeks to maintain best results. F11 Classic protection will last 4 to 6 months from a single application, depending on conditions and usage.

Can I apply it over another brands coating?

We recommend stripping off old coatings before you apply. UnCoat to strip away old coatings and Polywash to prep your surface with a sudsy wash.

Is F11 Classic the same as F11PRO+?

No. F11 Classic is the original formula designed for ease and shorter-term protection. F11PRO+ offers longer durability with the same simple application.

How do I wash my car after applying F11® Classic?

The formula significantly reduces your cleaning intervals and eliminates the need for harsh detergents or soaps. To maintain the finish, simply wipe the vehicle down with a water-dampened microfiber towel, or do a quick waterless wash by lightly reapplying F11® Classic. It becomes easier to clean with every application.

How long does the formula take to cure?

While it provides an immediate glossy finish and surface protection, F11® Classic takes 12 to 48 hours to fully cure, depending on your local temperature and humidity.

Are there any surfaces I should avoid treating?

Yes. Because F11® Classic creates an incredibly slick, hydrophobic barrier, do not apply it to control mechanisms (pedals, steering wheels, grips), walking surfaces, or motorcycle/bench seats where slipperiness poses a safety hazard.
